On behalf of the Theta Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, I thank you for visiting our site.
We welcome you to explore who we are and learn about the remarkable work that we have done, as we render service to the Western Wake County of North Carolina. From our inception on September 26th, 1997, to the present-day today, Theta Lambda Sigma, TLS, thrives on making an impact in the areas of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. With several collaborative partnerships with the town of Cary Police Department and their Project Phoenix campaign, to the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC), to several area elementary to high schools, TLS has adopted and sponsored countless children to provide shoes and other school essentials for our Soles for Little Souls and Operation Big Book Bag initiatives, along with issuing numerous scholarships to help reduce the drowning rate of African American swimmers with our Swim1922 campaign.
Our dedication to service throughout the years is best described by our brand, “Blue House| Gold Market” as we exemplify our passion for giving back to the community (our Gold Market), as we simultaneously work side-by-side in strengthening the bonds of our sisterhood (our Blue House).
What is the Blue House| Gold Market? It’s more than just a theme, it is a symbol of class—simple, yet chic. Everything Theta Lambda Sigma stands for.
The Blue House is in line with the very tenets that our sorority was built on. It represents our motivation, our heart, and our soul. It is our zealous commitment to service, our passionate desire for "Greater”, and our enduring bonds of sisterhood. As we serve, we strive to elevate our individual and collective standards to become “Best in Class” in all that we do.
Our Gold Market next-level strategies will bring more to the Western Wake community than ever before. We operate beyond trends and plan for viability.
We implore you to enjoy your stay, send us a note to connect, and continuously visit our site for updates!
In the work of Sigma,
Darlene McDoe
